Romeo Rega (1925-1984) was an Italian designer renowned for his modernist-style lamps and furniture influenced by the glamour of the 1970s. He began learning the craft of blacksmithing from his father and later founded his own studio in Rome, creating pieces with brass, chrome and geometric shapes that have become collector's items. His work is characterised by a combination of traditional craftsmanship and sophisticated modernity, and is associated with the style Hollywood Regency o Modern Glam.
