Goffredo Reggiani (1929-2004) was an influential Italian designer and entrepreneur who founded Reggiani Illuminazione in 1957, a brand that became a mainstay of European lighting design. Renowned for his avant-garde and futuristic aesthetic, Reggiani was a key figure in the Space Age movement of the 1960s and 1970s, using industrial materials such as chromed steel, opal glass and teak wood to create geometric and sculptural forms.
