Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) was a French designer and architect, trained at the École de l'Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. She collaborated with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, creating functional furniture that united industrial materials, ergonomics and modern aesthetics. His work with international manufacturers cemented his influence on 20th century modern design.
