Bay Keramik was a leading German ceramics manufacturer, founded in 1933 by Eduard and Friedrich Bay in Ransbach-Baumbach. The company became famous for its high quality craftsmanship and innovative designs with modernist influences. During the 1950s and 1960s, it expanded its production into decorative ceramics with bright colours, organic shapes and abstract patterns. In the 1970s he diversified his products to include figurines, plaques and tiles, working with renowned designers such as Bodo Mans, Heinz Siery and Gerda Heuckeroth. After facing financial difficulties in the 1980s, Bay Keramik closed in 1997, leaving a legacy of pieces highly valued by collectors and lovers of ceramic art.
