He graduated in architecture from the University of Naples and also worked in Stockholm and Chicago. As a designer, he is best known for the Marenco sofa for Arflex (1970) and other iconic pieces of furniture.<br \/>\nOn television and radio, he made a name for himself as a comic actor in *Alto Gradimento*, *L\u2019altra domenica* and *Indietro tutta!*, playing characters such as Colonel Buttiglione.
